Incredibly bad name search in Outlook!
Search for contacts and email addresses is unusable!
If I enter a name *I know to exist* in my contacts into the To:-field, in 3 out of 4 attempts Outlook will NOT find and offer that entry! Why is that so? It can't be *that* hard to search through first and last names and display matches! Why is that not working? And why is this the accepted status since literally decades? It regularly drives me nuts! |

You would do better asking Microsoft.

Outlook searches have been miserable for as long as I can remember. And I can remember back to Office 97.
Sometimes I find it helpful to search all folders instead of the current one. I also use some of Outlook's bizarre and geeky search tools. For example, you can search for things like this: From:John To:booboo.com Subject:geek Size:>5 GB Received:8 May HasAttachment:True cc:sandy@sandysandy.ca About:those berries There's no space after the colons. You can combine two or more search terms: From:John To:booboo.com |

Well, with the search in emails I typically have no issues.
It's the search in contacts that regularly drives me nuts! |
