Outlook 2019: Set Quick Action buttons/icons
I use 3 panes, folders (left), message list (center), and preview (right). In the message list, to the right of every message (when I hover or select it), there appear two icons, the follow-up flag (I presume) and the delete "X" icon. I believe these are known as "quick action icons" or "quick action buttons" or something similar. I would like to hide at least the flag icon, because it takes up an entire column of air (for me, anyway). I figured out how to do this on one machine, but now I cannot, for the life of me, find that information again. Sigh!!! Can anyone point me to the Set Quick Actions … item? I believe it used to be under Home > Follow Up, but it's not there now.
Thank you. |

1. Right-click on the header for the Flag column.
2. Click "Remove Column". |

Thank you. There is no column header above these two flags. So when I click in the "right location", I remove the first field to the left of them.
I really have the impression that the only way to do this is to use the thing called "Quick Actions". I just can't seem to access it. |
