Default POP3 accounts

I have a pop3 account that the e-mails are being picked up by outlook 2003. I also have an exchange account. I am trying to forward e-mails from my pop3 account in outlook and they keep comming back with a 550 relaying prohibited error. any suggestions?

Are you able to send emails from your pop3 account?

550 error is usually a misconfiguration of your SMTP server. There are two possible reasons as I'm aware:

- You didn't configure your SMTP properly for your SMTP server. Almost all SMTP serers require authentication.
or
- You SMTP server only allows local connection.

Check your email account configuration, did you fill in user name and password for outgoing server?
