I am trying to upgrade from XP to 10. On XP I have Outlook 2002 while on 10 I have Outlook 2019.
On both accounts the login email address is sent1@xxx. In Outlook 2002 I can set the system such that when I send an email the recipient see erick@xxx but in Outlook 2019 the recipient see sent1@xxx. In both cases I can have my name as the sender and when they reply in both cases the email address is erick@xxx but in Outlook 2019 it is somewhat confusing when it shows that the email is coming from sent1@xxx and going back using erick@xxx. Is there a way that while still using sent1@xxx to send emails that the recipient sees erick@xxx for Outlook 2019. Thanks Erick Note, even when I set for the outgoing email to go out via erick@xxx in Outlook 2019, it still shows sent1@xxx on the recipient email Found the answer, it is in Account Setting. Go to Mail Setup, Email Accounts and select the account. From there you can change the email address that will be shown on the recipient. Thanks |
