Question Outlook typing letters in wrong order

Hi All, thanks in advance for any help.
I use Outlook mail (I do not use through my Mac Mail) I use use it directly through outlook.com. For a few days now, when I type an email the first letter jumps to second place and second letter comes up as first letter example: Thanks shows as hanksT.
Also as soon as I hit return, the curser jumps to the address line and starts to type in there. I have no virus and this is only happening in outlook mail. I've checked all setting and keyboard setting. All seems okay there.

My husband has a Mac too but different operating system and it's also happening on his outlook.com mail.
I can't find ANYTHING online about this issue.
Thank You.!
