Is it possible o edit the header text in Outlook.com?

Select your contact then choose "Edit" in the menu just above, or right-click your contact in the left panel, and then edit the fields Name and Surname.

I have searched for those "Edit" links before coming to the forum. No luck. See two screenshots.

In truth I said "Select your contact", not "Open your Inbox".
Maybe if I said "Open your Contact (People) panel" and "Select your contact" would've been better.

In Contacts (People) the name and initials (SK) are correct and always were.

Remember that this is in https://outlook.live.com/mail/inbox/............, Not the Outlook in Office.
Pretty crazy.
Also, I don't know why the screenshots display so much larger than they should.

Office Outlook pane is completely different.
The only way to replicate your case is to leave 'Last Name' empty and use 'Second Name' for Gmail but your screenshots clearly state 'Last Name'; I'm confused.
Sorry, I have no other idea. All I have left to suggest is to delete the contact and recreate it as New.
