Default Outlook 'Check Names' problem

Hi, I have some VBA that initiates a .vbs script to create and send an Outlook e-mail.

It composes a new email but then the 'Check Names' feature cannot figure out the recipients. Very frustrating. I've attached what it looks like. The recipients are coming from a single Excel cell but Outlook thinks it's 1 email address.

If I make ANY change in the recipient box (even just adding a space at the end) then the Check Names is happy and it accepts them as 2 email addresses. Can anyone help please?
