Right click options in email body

Previously before the managed payments from eBay i received payment notification emails from Paypal, i could highlight the buyers name and address, right click and select copy among other options as in the screen shot and paste them into my label maker program and it would print the label.

With the eBay notifications when i highlight the buyers name and address and right click the only option that is there is the copy option and that doesn't act the same way as it did with the Paypal emails.
Would there be a way to make it so the right click works properly in the email body ?

What happens if you select the the buyer's name and press Ctrl + C? What information ends up on the clipboard?

When printing labels i use Dymo label writer. And if you look at the screen shot, previously when i got a payment notification from Paypal i used to hightlight the customers name and address and i would hit the icon that the arrow is pointed to and it would print the label.
Now with the way ebay formats the email it won't do that because the information is formatted into a table as per screen shot.

When i highlight the name and address of the buyer in the eBay notification email copy and paste it into dream weaver or Front page it is formatted into a table which makes absolutely no sense. This why my label maker software doesn't work properly.
So now i have to put the caret into the label, hit CRTL V and hit the print icon so needless to say a lot more keystrokes and mouse clicks.

I am not sure why eBay finds it necessary to antagonize their sellers by doing something like that, they seem to get a kick out of making it as difficult as possible for sellers. Perhaps when they make changes they should be talking to the people who are the end users and get their opinion.

Another thing that is annoying is that with the Paypal payment notifications i could look at the list of emails and right away see if there are multiple purchases by a buyer, i could separate them and lump them together later (see screenshot)

Now i have to print all my labels and later go over them to make sure there are no duplications since the email from eBay doesn't give me any information when i look at the list, all i see is a bunch of truncated subject info which really tells me nothing. Again, why make it so difficult ???
I can't set my outlook to receive plain text emails because all that shows up is the HTML code they use to format the email.

I have given eBay my 2 cents worth but i doubt if anything will change.

This is a textbook example of why macro software can be so useful. If software doesn't work the way you need it to, use a macro to force it work the way you want it to.

In this case, I imagine the macro would copy the content of the table, parse it, and place the information you need back on the clipboard. It might be possible to write a macro to automatically select and copy the information you need rather than you manually selecting and copying. The macro might also be able to handle switching from one application to another.

The downside: It takes considerable time and effort to learn to write macros that work reliably.

I'm sure ebay would be thrilled to take on!

Curious that they have reworked a "feature" so that it produces more work for the user now than in the past...

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh We are talking about eBay, they have never been friendly to their sellers and they try to makes things as difficult as possible.

I think there are huge disconnects between how application developers think about applications, and how the people who rely on those applications actually do stuff. The idea of being productive and efficient while using modern software is, in my view, more myth and fantasy.

I totally agree Alan and then on top of that eBay wants to make it as difficult as possible for a seller. This has been the case for about 20 years i have been selling on eBay and it is only getting worse especially now they have instituted Managed Payments which are not managed very well.
