Default Outlook 2007 - Cache Login Information

We've recently switched from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007. In the past, when connecting to our offsite Exchange hosting provider using Outlook, the users account name (bill@microsoft.com) would be available on the drop down arrow of the Outlook Login Pop-up. Since we have migrated to Outlook 2007, this names are no longer being made available even though a drop down arrow is still an option in the window (it returns a blank field if you click the arrow).
Does anyone know how this is populated and how I can cache the users login name?
Thanks,
Mike
