Default Web Links in Outlook

I am running outlook 2007 and a few weeks ago i started getting a message when i clicked on web links within emails.
An open dialog box was appearing asking to select an exe file to open the link. This happened for all links.
I solved this by going into file types and going into URL : Hyper Text Transfer Protocol and redoing the string. All good.
Now when i click on a web link on in an email the link opens but i also get 3 home pages opening at the same time. Not sure if this is an outlook problem, but i have looked elswhere and cannot find an answer, so i though i would give it a shot in these forums to see if anyone can help.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has any ideas.
