Default Blocking Emails

All of a sudden I am getting thousand of junk emails. Can I block them and have them go directly to the deleted. Why would this happen all of a sudden. I went from a few a day to literally thousands. Had over 10 thousand this morning.

The best means I have found of dealing with unwanted mail is to use MailWasher from FireTrust.

Does anyone know why this would just happen all of a sudden. I went from just a few to thousands over night.
