Outlook attachment GDPR
Hello,
I was wondering if any can help me with my issue. Everyday i sent a bunch of emails to a different companies with sensitive information via Outlook. There is any way i can add a rule - part of a Subject name match file attachment name. So for example if I am sending documents to the company Alpha, and my Subject has "Alpha limited revised documents" and my attachment is for example "Bravo.pdf; Bravo.limited.doc; Alpha.pdf" it would block me, because 2 out of 3 documents contain different to a subject name. I cannot create rule to each company because there are 1000 of them so for me really answer would be some kind of rule that would everytime check subject row and compare it to the attachment. I would be grateful for any advice! |

You could create a single rule with a script that uses a look-up table, or perhaps you could use mail merge with attachments to e-mail - see Merge Many To One in one to one mode which would ensure that the attachments matched the recipients/subjects.

Thanks for reply Gmayor,
Mail merge wont work for me, could you be more specific about single rule script. At the moment i love notification about the files that were meant in the email to be attached, but forgotten due process. That helps a lot. Does this single rule script will do the same? Will it block me to send if i have attached wrong documents? or at least will give warning? |
