Outlook will not connect with wired eternet connection
I use Outlook 2016 on a HP Laptop with Windows 8.1 operating system. I do not use Windows 10 because I use a couple of critical (to me) programs that are not compatible. I typically am wirelessly connected to our internet provider when using this laptop, and have no connection issues with any programs when connected in this manner. There is, however, a huge speed improvement if I chose to connect via an ethernet port on the router. The issue is, that when I'm connected via the ethernet port, Outlook specifically cannot connect. I presume I have a settings issue of some sort, but haven't been able to determine what it might be. Any ideas will be appreciated.
