Default I am adding a lot of contacts to ms outlook 2010

Is there away to assign the save and open new contact to a button on my logitech wingman track ball?

Also is there away to customize the names of the address fields? Sometimes people have more than one cell phone number or say a home fax and those fields aren't there

Or they have a second contact person and there is no space for that

Or in one case i have the card for the president of a company which has like 8 offices. I really dont want to retype that information 8 times.

Is there away to make a copy of a contact card so that if I have 2 people where all the information is the same except for their names?

Vilasman,

Your first question cannot be done..I also use a trackball type mouse and if i could preset these types of functions it would be a great day.

- Your second question - " Also is there away to customize the names of the address fields? Sometimes people have more than one cell phone number or say a home fax and those fields aren't there"

When i create a new contact, Using Outlook 2010 i can add up to 4 phone numbers per contact. Is this not so for your contact list? Each field can be altered with a drop down to give it the new phone number the proper designation. Such as phone 2 or business 2.

Also in Outlook 2010 when creating a new contact you have a note field..for the CEO of our company, i have additional phone numbers and address in this field.

However, if you want to make additional copies you can simply select the contact, right click the contact and hit copy.

Hope this information was found helpful.

The info is very helpful... thank you. The no button assignment on the track ball think sucks.
As for the phone number thing....
Sometimes there are more than 4 phone numbers.... sometimes one is a direct line to the person , the other is a office number...
In a couple of cases the spouse's name and number... I guess I could put that in as a note....
In one case the couple had 3 houses, each with an address and number, then office number and fax and his and her cell phone numbers

I am trying to make this as blackberry friendly as possible. As in enter the info into outlook and then up load it all into a blackberry.

I am up to one contact every 1.5 to 2 mins... but it would be nice to get it even faster
