Imported an extra pst
I'm using Office 365, local not cloud, moving from a W7 PC to a W10 one.
In moving over, I had some trouble getting all my Outlook data. I thoguth I had done it all several days ago, but realized today that my contact subfolders had not come over; I guess I forgot to check the relevant box. Today, in the course of re-exporting, copying the pst, re-importing, etc. I managed to bring in a backup pst. I thought I thought I was merging its data into my user pst. However, it's sitting as a separate "profile" in my Outlook email lists. See attachment, showing the un-expanded backup and the user, below it, expanded. The same is true in the calendar and contacts, where everything is duplicated: two calendars, two full sets of contacts. However, in all three, when I perform a search, I get a message saying "Something went wrong; search could not be completed." How should I proceed to get this straightened out? Thank you. |

Since it appears that no ready answer is available, I will post this on another forum.
