Where is the 'tracking tab' within the Sent file?
I've been trying to set the 'read receipt' function on my email. Yet, when I
go into the Sent File, I don't see the 'Tracking tab' that is mentioned. What am I doing wrong? This is referring to Microsoft Outlook 2003. |

RE: Where is the 'tracking tab' within the Sent file?
The 'tracking' option is under Tools, Options, E-Mail Options and Tracking
Options. There you have a check box for Read Receipts. Place a tick in the box and you will receive Read receipts for all your mail. HTH |

I beleive the original question was to do with a Tracking Tab that used to appear in the WIN98 version I had. Not the read receipt feature which I beleive the answer above talks about. The tracking tab would appear when you viewed your sent message in the SENT messages folder. When you opened the message in this folder there was a tracking tab at the top of the e-mail message. When you selected this tab you saw a record of everybody the e-mail had been sent to, including BCC recipiants which was really convieniant. I now have XP and cannot figure out how to turn this tracking tab feature back on. As I stated this worked really well for printing copies of who you had sent BCC copies to.
Anybody know how to turn this tab on in XP |

Answer
In order for the tracking tab to show up you need to actually open up the read receipt and the delivery receipt. Once you do this it will add the tracking tab to the sent message. Make sure you don't just select it and view it in the preview window, you have to double click it and actually open it..
