Default Email follow up

Dear Sir,
I am using Outlook 2010; I wanted to keep follow up for sent email, which is not responded.
How can keep it, after sending email I forget to flag for follow up.

Please advice.

It's been some years since I used 2010, but in 365 you right-click on any email in the Sent box, mouseover 'Follow Up' in the popup menu, and choose for when to flag it in the future.
