Unhappy Outgoing Email Goes Directly To Trash Folder

I'm using Outlook 2016 on a PC with WIN 10.

When I click 'Send' on an email, the email goes straight to my Trash folder, instead of its intended destination.

Can anybody help?

Thanks!

Check your Rules, specifically if you have any based on the template "Move messages sent to a public group to a folder".

If that's not it, try the Office Repair routine;
Else uninstall and reinstall Outlook.

It's a weird one, never came across it before. Please let us know how you get on.
