Default Selecting group of emails and sorting to database

I want to select about 800 emails from a certain website that sent me emails and analyze them. I want to sort the emails by what time they came in on what day and year. Or even to arrange a range of times and have the email dates, times and years sorted into my categories. 1. is it possible? 2. which other program do I need to do this?

I am thinking if I can use excel it would be great. I can arrange the spread sheet first then import the data directly? Because there are 800 emails I would prefer to have the software do it for me rather than I do it manually.

Using Outlook 2010.

Thanks
