Default Desktop search programs won't index 2010 contacts

I've tried Google Desktop, Copernic, and Windows Search. When opening Outlook 2010, all my contacts are there, but none of the programs seem to be indexing them. I've even set the program to index the entire hard drive. I'd like to be able to type in a customers name, click the relevant search result, and have it open to that contact. This worked fine until buying a new pc, Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit). Any ideas?
