I have a number of hotmail & live email accounts I generally access using Thunderbird, with no issues. TBird is set to leave messages on the server until I delete them. I recently went to one of these accounts, which has about 20 emails in the inbox, and ALL I see when I select Inbox on Outlook.live.com is "All caught up." WHAT??? NO messages appear ANYWHERE, except 2 in Junk Mail. It seems once you've READ a message, GONE! WTF? I will continue to use Tbird, but HOW do I get M$ Outlook to actually SHOW the contents of my inbox???
TIA |

Thanks to MS's thick-headed naming dept, the usual potential confusion exists. If I interpret you correctly:
You do not use the Outlook client in your Office 2010—or it's not relevant here. Quote:
If that's the case, compare the settings between the 'bad' account and the 'good' accounts—that should identify what's amiss. Tip: take screenshots or phone photos of the settings if you don't have 2 monitors, makes checking easier. |

Outlook emails are marked as spam, but Gmail emails are not.
