Junk mail filter working on 1 computer, but not on another
Hi,
I am running Outlook 2013 on Windows 10 64 bit on 2 different computers; the desktop is working fine with many mails (approx. 40) going to the spam filter each day. This also used to happen on the laptop computer until recently. Recently over the past few weeks, Outlook on laptop computer is delivering junk email direct to my inbox. The desktop is running alongside the laptop, and is sending the same emails to the Spam folder. I checked the “Junk filter settings” by going to Home, Junk, Junk e-mail options and both my Desktop and Laptop were set to “No Automatic filtering”. However, there are many emails every day being sent to my Spam folder on the desktop computer, so it must be working ok. I decided to set the junk email protection on my laptop to Low to see if it would block at least some of the spam… but no luck. Many of the emails being sent to Spam on the desktop, are still being sent to my Inbox on the laptop. I don’t know whether this is related, but a few times recently Outlook shut itself down without warning on my laptop, and then restarted. Can anyone advise what the problem or solution might be? Thanks in advance, Dave |

Couple of things to try:
1. Repair Office 2. Check Event Viewer, look for warnings related to Outlook. |
