Default Peek View Issue

I am running Outlook 2016 on Windows 10. A while back, out of the blue, I had something happen with Peek. Just in case I'm not using the proper term, by Peek, I'm referring to the panel on the right side of the Outlook mail page that shows a calendar, and under that shows the dates, times, and appointments scheduled for the next 7 days. I've used that for years on different versions of Outlook, and had successfully used it on this one for at least two years. Then, suddenly, the Peek changes so that I show the calendar, but I get a message stating I have nothing scheduled for the next 7 days. Factually untrue all the time. I've looked to see what I might figure out, but haven't had any luck, so I thought I'd ask online experts, as I haven't found anyone local that can help me. What can I do to get my appointments to show up?

Thanks in advance for your help.
