Default MS Office 2010 - Outlook not showing the number of emails being sent.

Hi,

MS Office used to show the count of emails in the outbox but it is not showing anymore. I re-install MS Office 2010 but to no avail.

I use Win 7 Ultimate.

If it’s the item count showing in the Status Bar when a folder is selected that you are referring to, try r/clicking the Status bar at the bottom of the window and make sure Items in View is checked.

Hi Brother,

I tried but I couldn't find the setting or the box to tick. Would you please be more detailed in explaining? Sorry, I am 86 years old and problem in catching up. Also, how could I reset to default, please?

The Status Bar is located at the bottom of the Outlook window:

Is this the area that you are referring to?

Hi Brother,

Not these items but the count of emails that I am sending through BCC Box. They used to appear on top where my From email is but it is not appearing now.

Outlook, as I’m sure you know, is a program which is very customisable and what you might see, or not see, can be very different to another users Outlook due to individual preferences and personal customisations, views etc.

Are you referring to the Bcc tab as shown in the image below?
This doesn’t give a count as such but can show the actual Bcc additions when the ‘tab’ is expanded.

If this is the tab that is wanted, depending what view you have, it can be included if any of the existing ‘Columns’ is Right clicked > View settings > Columns > Select available columns from: dropdown menu > Address fields > Bcc > Add > OK. (the Bcc can be moved by using the Move Up/Down options if required to position tab) > OK > OK.
Locate the Bcc tab > Expand to see Bcc recipients.

Apologies if I'm wrongly interpreting your question/replies.
