Default Mail coming to wrong box

I don't know the correct terms for these thinbgs. I am using Outlook 2010. I have 2 accounts showing in the left column. One just has an inbox and new mail is coming in there. The other has various folders and 2 years of emails and I would like mail to come there.

In settings:

email has one account - the one I dont want where mail is coming into.

Data files show 2 the default is the file with all my folders that I want to use the other that uis not ticked is the one I dont want where emails are coming to.

thanks

Is that in email accounts/data (where there are 2 files) or email accounts / email where there's one?

The bottom inbox is where emails come. The top one is where I would like them to go.

the two email accounts have same name. I think it turns an ambiguous situation for the Outlook to correctly decide the exact destination.
But first of all, may I know why is there a need to add the same account twice?
And, if their server settings are different by any mean?
