Text saved in Quickparts - where is that saved?
Hi, I saved some text from an email to Quickparts in Outlook. Our templates get updated occasionally, and I want to back up my outlook quickparts so I don't lose them. It says it is saved in Normalemail.dotm, but when I open that file (from C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates), my saved text isn't there. Where else could they be saved? Thank you.... Terry |

By default they are saved in normalemail.dotm (in fact that is the only location Outlook will allow you to save them to) and if you open that file in Word they should be present if you view building blocks in the building blocks organizer. You can also create building blocks in that template if you open it in Word.
