AOL Bulk Mail folder, Outlook 2011 for Mac
In trying to solve a prior issue with AOL email set up on Outlook, one of the things I did was delete the AOL account on Outlook, and then reinstall it.
When I did this, I got a whole slew of folders: Inbox, Draft, Sent, Trash, Bulk Mail, Archive, Drafts, Notes and Spam. Some mail that I want to keep and is important is ending up in the Bulk Mail folder. No matter what I do--physically moving the emails, marking them as "NOT JUNK", etc. they all pop right back into the Bulk Mail folder. If I go to AOL Mail on their web mail, this folder does not appear. Worse, there's a little "DO NOT" sign on the folder itself, (red circle with a slash through it) meaning this folder cannot be deleted. Personally I don't care if the folder stays or not, but jeez, if I move mail, I want it to stay where I moved it! It's bouncing back to Bulk Mail all the time... Anyone with an idea on this? |

I just had the "Bulk Mail" folders appear in Outlook for my AOL accounts also. I didn't uninstall and reinstall the counts like the previous poster did, they just showed up. I don't want them, I want to get rid of them! There has to be some way to do this. Any ideas?
By the way, I'm actually running Outlook 365 under Windows 10, not on a Mac like the PP. |
