Question help with Outlook-Contacts 2007

I just moved from Office 2003 to 2007. In Outlook I seemingly lost some functions or are they just hidden.
1. In Contacts- Activities button. I used to be able to see all emails to and from the contact. Now I can't.
2. I used to be able to set an appointment with a contact, now I can't.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
