It would be in msg format.
I have a need for project emails that have been saved in a folder within outlook to be exported out and saved with project documentation. It is easy to highlight all emails copy and save to another folder, but this loses the date/time metadata.
In outlook searching for an email would (I suggest) mainly be done by sorting by sender name. So I am looking for a solution that will export all emails for a particular folder, preserve the date/time, and sort them by sender name, or give the option to select this.
I have found one commercial product by Tech Hit called MessageSave, but it is expensive per licence when multiplied across our organisation.
