Outlook not allowing group mailing lists
For the last few days I can no longer send e-mails to groups in my contacts list.
When you go to the "to" line the groups aren't presented when you type the first few letters of the group or the entire name of the group. When you go to the "people" section the groups are shown there with all the correct entries but if you select email group a pop-up comes up and opens another tab of your Outlook mail. Ideas? |

In addition to the above my group contact list is populated with a whole bunch of Q entries that have different 8-11 number sequences following the Q. I have gone in and manually deleted all the Q entries but they keep repopulating the list.

I am having the same problem. My contact list of 55 entries shows under People, but will not populate into the To: field of a new email.

Microsoft is aware of the problem and they are working on it.
They have asked me to turn on the Beta version of outlook, (tab in the upper right hand corner of mail) and try that. It allows me to select some groups but not all in the "to" field. If I go to my "people" tab I am now able to select a group and send email to the group. Not perfect yet by any means but an improvement. |
