My Outlook 2002 has suddenly started doing violence to original messages as
soon as I reply to them: It either permanently deletes them or moves them into my "Sent Items" folder, depending on whether "Options / Preferences / E-Mail Options / Save copies of messages in sent items folder" is unchecked or checked. I don't know of anything I did to make it start doing this, and I certainly didn't intend it. Anybody know how to fix it? - Thanks, Ken Winter |

Hi Ken
Is there any rule will do the delete? BT |

No, I don't think so. I have a lot of rules, but I just checked and all of
them are "Apply this rule after the message arrives" rules - none are triggered by my sending a message. - Ken |

I was thinking a filter
Perhaps it's showing only unread msgs? So as soon as you read something - it's gone from view yet still in the folder. You can confirm this by checking the total number of items show in the lower left with what you see ALSO the word filter will appear in the upper right corner. ? |
