Default Problems with Search in Outlook 2007

Hey guys, new here. Probably beating a dead horse, but has anyone found a fix for the outlook search issues that have been going around? I work for a small company that uses outlook 2007 for all of their emails and the search is an important tool. I've already added the "Preventoutlookindexing" registry fix, but my boss isn't happy with how long it takes for results to show up. Is there a fix to get Instant Search working again? our other option is to put a third party search tool on all of the computers, but i don't want us to have to dump $500+ on software if there's a fix.

Thanks in advance,
James

You can restrict Outlook searches. For example:

From:Ahmed
To:Arnold@xyz.com
Subject:Test
Size:>5 GB
Received:Yesterday
HasAttachment:True
Attachments:.pdf
About:goofy

Note there is no space after the colon.

Search terms can be combined. For example...

From:abcd@efgh.ca Received:Today

...finds all messages from "abcd@efgh.ca" received today.

"About" finds text in the Subject, the body of the message, and the name of the attachment.
