Default Synchronising OWA with Outlook 365

I have just had to reset a Windows 10 pc and reinstall Office 365. I can access my emails, calendar, tasks etc via the outlook.office365.com/owa. My email account is pop3 and I have reenabled it in the Outlook 2016 desktop. My emails have downloaded but it looks like I am going to have to export my contacts from OWA into 2016. However I cannot see how it is possible to do the same with my calendar and tasks. Is there no way in which the two platforms can be kept synchronised?
