Hello,
We are using Outlook 2k3 all patches and SPs on Exchange 2k3 all patches and SPs. We'd like to get rid of Goldmine but one of the big features we using in Goldmine is the automatic time stamps for all notes. E.g. I enter received call from John Doe in John Does notes (in goldmine) it automatically creates the note with a time stamp - so notes are more like a database so we can do a search for all notes between a certain date. Not sure if Business contact is required for this or if business contact even does this. Do we need an add on product such as Business Contact and if we do, would those notes be viewable using OWA? Thanks |

I'm not positive if there are other solutions but from what I've read the
Business Contact Manager adds the note/activity info we want but it doesn't really integrate with Exchange so you don't get any OWA info! I've posted in the BCM the many shortcomings of BCM I found. It really could be a GREAT product with just a little effort but it is almost as if it is a .5 version of what should be a full product and they are actually calling v2 w sp1!!!! |

Try using the Journal - it will automatically date and time stamp notes for you.
