Default Autoarchive inbox

All I want to do is keep my inbox very tidy without having to manually move messages to another folder. I want to click on an archive folder and see the archived messages. I don't really care if archived messages reside in a different .pst file as long as access is seamless. I don't every want messages automatically deleted.

Is that a simple request? Finding the answer through the software help menu was not.
