Outlook Calendar "New Item" Template with Invitee
I modified the "New Item" button under the Calendar (Home) tab in the "New" section by changing the default template to one entitled "CN 13" (see screenshots). I did this by going into "Properties" for the calendar and selecting the template I devised. I am writing because I am having problems with my template.
The main reason I've been using a custom template is to always invite the same person to each meeting I schedule (in this case, myself at a different E-mail to ensure the items synchronize outside of my job). I had it working once where it would populate the "To" section with an E-mail, but it no longer functions and creating a new template with the E-mail entered makes no difference. I've tried troubleshooting by saving the template to different places but it still doesn't work. Has anyone run into this problem or have ideas on how I fix it? Thanks in advance. hi
I would say that the information is missing from the template you devised. You did this with a custom form? When you open that and check the fields section you should be able to adjust it. Other option is to add vbscript that puts the email address in when the form opens. regards, John |
