![]() I find it frustrating knowing my emails are being delayed when I "Send", or not being received at all! Is there any way to eliminate the delay or at least reduce it to a small minimum delay number? I also don't understand the exit messages for Outlook. Please enlighten me! New user to Outlook, Bob |

Hi!
Click on the Tools menu, Options . Click on the Mail Setup tab. Under the Send/Receive sub heading make sure the box is ticked next to ” Send immediately when connected“. Bye! Souriane |

I did as advised and also under Send & Receive same line as Tools chose the "Send Receive Settings and under that chose "Disable Scheduled send & receive.
However after send I still get the 2 windows about "exit without send" and "Do not exit", which seems to mean you must leave Outlook up all day. |

Is there an email that is stuck into your outbox? Maybe it has an attached document too big?

After checking for a submitted solution (none), I checked my outbox and found 22 email waiting to be sent.
The scheduled send time was 7:12PM all on this date and not scheduled by me. When 7:30 arrived I ck'd the Outbox again, now the send time was 7:32 p and no emails had been sent ! What is going on and isn't an Outlook coordinator available? P.S The email awaiting send originate as far back as about the 9th of Oct . |
