Hello,
thanks a lot in advance for your help as I do not find the solution on line (if it exists) I receive many professional emails everyday (200+) on many various topics. I use outlook 2016. So when I receive a message, I move it manually to the appropriate folder in my inbox to sort them out after reading or action . (e.g. problem X, Problem Y, Customer A, B...) and I have activated the conversation tool. When I receive a new message identified as being the same conversation, I would like to move it easily, after reading, with the remaining items from the same conversation. Today, I have to drag each email on the left side, scrolling down to the right folder (and I have 100+ so it can be pretty slow to scroll down), waiting for outlook to open the subfolders, dropping my email, collapsing my folder and doing it again for each email on a different topic. It's not the world biggest trouble but it takes me several hours per week to sort my emails like that. sorry it's just a useless pain and long evenings doing "cleaning" so I'm trying to find a solution as there is no button "move it to the folder of the conversation" this is what I've investigated and does not work as far as I know : - creating a rule, as I would have to do it for each conversation or subject - right click, "move" as it will give me only the last folders used not the one used previously by the other items from the conversation - "always move message from this conversation" : as it will even not appear in my inbox, this is fully automated. I would not see it except if I look to everything "unread" you do not imagine how great it would be to find finally a solution. I hope that I was clear, if not please ask me thanks a lot for your time |
