Default How to import .contact files into outlook 2007

I am reinstalling windows for a friend and backed up the outlook data files as .pst. I noticed he had a directory called outlook contacts in which all his contacts were gathered as .contact files. So I backed-up this directory. Now I don't know how to import these files into outlook.

eekie,

1. Select "Open" under "File" in the top menu bar.
2. Select your desired PST file and click the "Open" button.
3. Wait for the data files to be imported into your application (depending on the file size and the speed of your computer, this may take 15 to 30 minutes).
4. Confirm that a folder appears in your Folder List (in the right-hand frame) named "Personal Folder" or with the name of the PST file.

I hope this helps.
