Font and Format changes from computer to computer / device
I will try to keep this is as simple and concise as possible, as it is somewhat confusing to describe.
My company uses a specific format for 90% of the emails we send out in Outlook. most of the messages are replies (copies of the majority of the original messages) with some changes in details: ie updated times and dates of events. Our problem is that when we reply all to an earlier email (on a separate machine) the format is off. generally nothing aligns as our original format. Sometimes the font changes as well. It becomes very time consuming attempting to re-align everything, and a 1 minute email, turns into a half-hour event. This is also almost always the case when we reply via smartphone. HELP!!! Note: The only time I have noticed that the formatting remains unaltered, is if "User A" replies to an earlier email, sent by "user A" (using same computer). Im not sure which version of windows/outlook every machine is running, but i am sure they vary. |

With email apps, you're at the mercy of how the recipient's email client handles the content, coupled with how the user has that email client configured. Unless everyone is using the same email client (or at least compatible email clients from the same provider) and has it configured the same way, it's hardly surprising the format changes.
