Outlook 2016 No Longer Indexing PST Files
I didn't have much luck with Microsoft on this, so I thought I would ask here. I have a subscription to Office 365 Pro Plus. My Outlook configuration consists of 3 different email accounts (Exchange) and several PST files that have email archived over the years.
I've always been able to search through the PST files. Now, it no longer works. I can only search through the data files pointing to an Exchange account (behind the scenes an OST file). The PST files reside on the D drive, and indexing is setup to include that directory and file type. I've tried rebuilding the indexing, detaching the date files in the 2016 mail applet in control panel, reattaching, etc. Something seems to have been broken with the recent Office update. Any ideas? Thanks! |

I was able to fix this by creating a new Outlook profile.
