MS Message
I have received this message a couple of times in the last month.....never been locked out of my account - is it legit? if you hit the button (review recent activity) it takes you to your log in page. Have never gone further than that.
Microsoft account unusual sign-in activity MT Microsoft account team <account-security-noreply@account.microsoft.com> Reply| Today, 6:26 AM Microsoft account Verify your account We detected something unusual about a recent sign-in for the Microsoft account d******@outlook.com. For example, you might be signing in from a new location, device, or app. To help keep you safe, we've blocked access to your inbox, contacts list, and calendar for that sign-in. Please review your recent activity and we'll help you take corrective action. To regain access, you'll need to confirm that the recent activity was yours. Review recent activity Thanks, The Microsoft account team |

Look at the header on the message to see where it came from and NEVER EVER click links in messages that you are uncertain of. In fact never click links in messages at all. Enter the address into your browser instead.
The fact that you can still log-in normally using your normal mode of access suggests a phishing message.
