problem viewing tasks from a shared mailbox (Office 365/Outlook 2013)
Hi all
Our users have their own individual mailbox and some have access to a shared mailbox. Both are accessed via Outlook 2013 (plus some Outlook 2010s). These users can see the shared mailbox in the Folder Pane, underneath their own mailboxes. This works well but I have been asked to add the Tasks related to the shared mailbox to the Folder/Navigation Pane, so they can drag emails into it when viewing their Inbox/Reading Pane. One viewer already has that (not setup by me) but I can't get it to work for this new user. They have access to the shared mailbox's Tasks (he can view them in the Tasks area in Outlook) but I want to get it to show in the shared mailbox in the Folder/Navigation Pane, like the other user. Can anyone suggest how to do this? I searched various forums but can't find a solution. Many thanks, Brian |

Aaargh - found what the problem was! The user who could see the Tasks in the shared mailbox in their navigation pane was viewing the pane in Folder view. The other user was viewing the navigation pane in Mail view. Folder view shows a lot more, including Tasks. Obvious now!
