Recent Outlook Issues
I have recently experienced a couple of issues with Apple versions of Outlook.
1. With the version running on my MacBook Pro the program has become slow to load and the Apple "beach ball" which is the equivalent of the Microsoft hourglass spins often indicating that Outlook is struggling to run? 2. I also have Outlook for IOS on my Ipad Air and up until yesterday this ran fine. However it now regularly freezes the screen and/or shuts itself down. Not sure if the two issues are related, has anyone experienced similar behaviour? If this is not the correct platform to address Apple issues can someone point me in the direction of a suitable forum? Many thanks, Rob |

OK even stranger now!
I've set up two IMAP accounts on my MacBook Pro running OS Sierra. In the accounts section of Preferences they are both shown with yellow dots indicating that the server has not been correctly set up? One of the accounts shows in the left hand pane of Outlook (with 3 Archive and 3 Junk folders?) whereas the other account isn't there at all. Both accounts are on the same email server and have been set up with the ports 993 for in and 465 for out. Is there a problem with the recent 15.31 version of Outlook that I am running, it was distributed on the 17th February? Is it possible to roll back to the previous version? |
