OK, so I come from 10 years experience with Palm calendar - simple black text, does the job. Now I pay to up to Outlook (2007) and get up to speed and I get very aggravated that many notes, perhaps copied & pasted into a calendar note won't print in my default Calibri 11 black but rather so blue triple-spaced bold something-or-other.
So I take the time, edit it to what I want & any further edit ( lets say I change a phone number area code ) and i'm back to that offensive blue triple spaced.... Lookit folks I know MS seems in the business of creating us problems to patch fix & upgrade but this inability to name a workable font and have it stick just drives me to consider going away to Google or anything else. Help! Thx / Peter |

There are quite a few quirks with Printing MS Outlook calendar.
If your need to have full control over fonts/spacing etc, your best bet is to use a calendar maker app called WinCalendar. It generates your Outlook calendar as a fully formatted Microsoft Word or Excel document. From there you can further edit or format/print using all the abundant features of Word/Excel. |

Thanks for replying but my complaint isn't about printing. I want simple text in black. Typed single spaced. Microsoft wants it their way. I get it the way I want it, and in one click it goes back like there has to be some underlying code that it wants to default to. $100 for a program with all the versatility in the world. And in the end Microsoft takes what I want and does it the way that infuriates me. Let me put it this way - you''re typing out your masters thesis. A nice font, nice spacing. you correct any punctuation or verbage from beginning to end, & suddenly everything goes 18point wingding font. How are you with this? Are the masses putting up with this? Thx / Peter |
