Is the backup for "Outlook for Mac" all in one place?
Just for comparison's sake, Windows' Outlook online backup files are all in C:>Users>(username)>AppData>Local>Microsoft>Outloo k (except for the .NK2 file in the Roaming, not the Local, folder). This makes it easy for me to make my CrashPlan backup system capture everything it needs to create a full offline backup of Outlook. I'd like it if Mac did something similar, and I suspect it's (username)>Documents>Microsoft User Data>Office 2011 identities. Can anyone confirm this? I know that both methods might capture outdated or irrelevant information, but in my mind it's a minor cost for the convenience involved. Besides, CrashPlan won't copy something a second time if it hasn't changed, so the extra cost is minimal. |
