Save/transfer notes subfolder

Default Save/transfer notes subfolder

Currently I have three email accounts in my Outlook 2010 application. The largest one is a POP account that is no longer active because it belonged to a service provider (TWC roadrunner) I no longer have a contract with.

If I remove the defunct account, will I lose the notes, contacts and calendar subfolders or are they independent of that account? I have tried and failed to move the folders and/or the data in them to my existing current gmail account.

If I have to keep the defunct account active, how can I get the information pop up screen asking for its name and password to stop popping up. Typing in the password does nothing;the screen keeps reappearing.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Make a backup copy of the PST file to be certain, but you should be able to remove the old e-mail account without losing the PST file it delivered to.

Alternatively, if your other accounts are POP you could make the old data file the default and direct the incoming mail to it.

Hi Fernesto,

No, it won't affect another account's PST data. Do the same steps as told by gmayor and as you said while moving PST items into your existing Gmail account with Outlook, you're getting password prompt, in this situation to stop showing this prompt window, you need to enable less secure apps in your Gmail account settings.

If still doesn't work then de-configure gmail account from Outlook and then re-configure that account and then try to move the PST items.

Regards,
Anjlua
