I hav4 items stuck in my outbox preventing outlook from sending my mail. deleting does not remove them and I just get a dialog box that says they are in the process of being sent. How do I get rid of them?
I suspect the cause may be that 3 of them are videos and I compressed them. They are the problem. If anyone can help me would appreciate ASAP as I am shutdown on this computer.

Now I have put the Office 2010 CD in and run the repair mode, office runs, deleted the troublesome files after putting on the "work offline" mode, rebooted the computer but how do you get it off the Offline mode? Why is the off switch not with the on switch.
Outlook and I are having a bad day, my first problem was that I could not send, guess what, I still can't.
Can somebody give me a simple way to get back online?

Hi Clare,

As I understood, while you’re sending emails in Outlook, they’re are not getting sent to the recipient and stuck in Outbox. The possible reason to this problem can be one of the following: If the attachment are too large in size, Can’t connect to the mail server, Incorrect login information, corrupted SRS files, etc. In your case, I think the problem is occurring due large size of attachment (since you’ve attached videos in the email).

Solution:
In this situation, you need to delete the attachment that are restricting you to send the email otherwise to send the attachments to the recipient anyhow, you need to firstly upload the attachments over the network. After attachments are uploaded, a URL will be generated, you need to give that URL to the recipient whom you want to send the attachments.

Thanks and Regards,
Anjlua

I finally solved the problem. The "offline" switch is most annoying, found that others have had the problem. Easy to turn off, hard to turn on. Both switches should be together.
