Default Your password is too easy to guess

Hi.

I've been getting a message after I log in to my outlook account saying 'Your password is too easy to guess' and then gives me the option to change my password. I can sign back out and back in again and can then access my emails but I was wondering if there is a way to stop this prompt as I don't want to change my password?

Many thanks

Hi Nick,

You may receive this message when your password is too weak to be guessed or hacked by other users. As I did R & D on this issue I found some possible reasons due to which you may receive password security related issue. When you receive this kind messages, make ensure that your password is meeting the following parameter:

1.) Your password must be 6-8 letters or numbers long (A-Z/0-9)
2.) Cannot include more than 3 repetitive digits (e.g. 777)
3.) Cannot include all or part of the SSN (Social Security Number) or Sprint PCS phone number
4.) cannot be something that can be easily guessed, like your birthday, etc.

Thanks & Regards,
Anjlua

Hi Anjlua.

Thanks for your reply. Is there anyway to stop this from message from coming up? I don't particularly want to change my password and it was fine until a few weeks ago.

Many thanks

I really wonder how Outlook or MS for that matter would know this?
