Default Upgrading to 2007

I am currently running microsoft outlook 2003 on exchange server 2003.

I am wanting to upgrade to Outlook 2007 but I am getting a whole load of errors. So i have obviously gone back to 2003.

The first error was that it cant connect to the actual mailbox so it creates a temporary one. Seems to work ok, until you come to send a message.

What do I need to do when installing. I'm fining some answers on the net, but none of them are helping... any help will be great.
